We chose HIR to help us design our dream home. Working with HIR was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Hannah toured the site we had selected for an entire day and then composed a design that maximized natural light and accentuated the surrounding views. In addition, she had a keen eye for materials and interior design, which allowed her to make invaluable recommendations for lighting, cabinetry, stone, and natural flooring. Throughout the project, Hannah was incredibly collaborative and kept communication clear, making a daunting process feel manageable. We are finally settled in a house we love and know we have HIR to thank for that!

We initially worked with Hannah on our house renovation nearly 10 years ago. Hannah's ability to understand our needs, pay attention to function and aesthetics, and then deliver an on-time organized package and work with the builder is truly exceptional. Two years ago we began working with her again for a beach cottage in rhode island, and once again the attention to detail, in depth questions and understanding of our needs, and marrying of function and design has been unparalleled. We brought Hannah in to help us with space planning for a third floor bonus and guest space project. While on site she also came up with a simple yet brilliant idea for improving the flow of our primary bedroom with minimal construction. We gained a separate office, extra storage without touching our existing closets, and significantly more natural light that has made the entire second floor feel more expansive. I'm an interior designer, I have worked with many architects, and I found Hannah to be very open and collaborative. In addition to her creativity, she is incredibly knowledgeable about the construction and permitting process, and her communication skills made her a true asset while coordinating with the builder.
